The Wolverine Trail system is located east of Ironwood, Michigan just north of US Highway 2.  The trail may be accessed through several different trail head locations.

The main warming shelter/chalet is located off Section 12 Rd. (North of WalMart) then east (right) at Sunset Rd (5851 Sunset Rd., Ironwood, MI  49938).

The hospital trailhead is located behind GrandView Hospital.

Skiiers may also access the trail system from Big Powderhorn Mt. by purchasing a one ride lift pass.
