Throughout the winter season we will update you with the latest trail conditions as reported by our groomers and volunteers. Stay tuned to this page for updates.
All trails groomed this morning. We continue to have excellent conditions on the trails.
All trails groomed. Excellent ski conditions. The snow is starting to transform, and is getting faster. Skate lane was firm, but not hard or icy. Classic tracks are set throughout with no dirt or debris in them. The Novice loop is now open. Some might say we have mid-winter conditions, but without daily snow or frigid temps, it feels more like early spring. The skiing is great!
All trails are tracked and groomed. Trails are in excellent condition today!
Trails were groomed this morning and are in great shape! Get out and ski!
Trails groomed last night. Reports are that the conditions were excellent.
Wolverine was Groomed and track set this morning. lower novice still closed. Condition are very good!
Trails are being groomed and track set this morning. Lower Novice is still closed and the Wolverine trail from the hospital parking to chalet remains a little rough. Skiers report that conditions are very good to excellen in all other parts of the trail.
Trails are rolled and ready to be groomed for the Dec.1 Season Opener!
On Saturday, December 1, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies will be provided in the chalet and Memberships will be available for purchase. We will also host a Nordic Gear Swap from 10AM-2PM. Bring your used gear to sell to the chalet from 8-9 am (skis, boots, poles, apparel). Sales will begin at 10AM Saturday. Unsold gear must be picked up Saturday before 3PM.
Official opening is December 1. Some trails have been groomed. Please do not go on closed trails and honor the land owners.
Conditions are good, and continue to get better with regular grooming. The best conditions with firm skate deck and classic track can be found from the chalet, around the 3-sisters cut-off loop via cliff trail. Cliff Hanger, and the rest of Powderhorn loop have been rolled, and remain soft. Wolverine loop toward the hospital has only a snowshoe path, and the rest of the loop is closed until Dec 1. There are a few areas where moisture can be seen coming through the base, and one small section of classic track that is wet but easily avoided. Early season ground effects will test your balance in some areas. Classic tracks were a surprise to find, and skied very well.
Wolverine report: cliffs, cliffhanger, and Powderhorn loops are rolled. Between the hospital trailhead and top of stairway to heaven isn’t groomed yet… follow the panked down snowshoe path
A bit soft, some wet spots… but great early season conditions!
Tracks are on the Pisten Bully and all is ready to go. We’ve seen some snow come and go and are hoping for some more the during the next week. Let it snow!
