The groomers braved the cold and groomed the trails this morning. Excellent conditions.
All trails were groomed and tracked this morning. Conditions are very good.
Skate lane groomed this morning. Trails are in good condition. Shallow base but everything in snow covered.
Wolverine was fully groomed this morning. Skate lane and tracks are firm. Pond loop is still closed.
The base has firmed up. All trails were tracked and groomed early this morning. Pond loop is still closed.
Wolverine ski trails are fully tracked and skate lane groomed. Soft conditions prevail and the pond loop is closed.
At this time, grooming will not improve skiing conditions at Wolverine until we get more snow. Snow is predicted for Sunday night. We expect to Groom Monday morning.

Trails were groomed this morning. Very thin base with some bare spots. Chalet is open. We need snow.
The trail groomers have focused on clearing the trees that have fallen across the trail. Total count, 7. Additionally because of the high winds the whole trail system was litered with stick debre that needed to picked up. Wash out areas prevail in back of Hospital,. Sulo’s field is hay stubble. Currently we don’t have enough ground cover to set tracks. We are waiting for 3-6 inches of snow to begin grooming again.

Trails have been groomed and track set. Conditions are soft. Wolverine will be completely open for the weekend.
With 12 inches of new snow the groomers knocked down drifts and rolled the trails.
When the snow stops the guys will go out to groom.
Dec. 1 Wolverine continues to wait for enough snow to groom the trails. The snowshoe and Fat bike trails are open.
The ski trails are open but will no longer be groomed. The chalet will close after this weekend. Thank you to the volunteer groomers for their commitment to maintain the trails,to the open/closers for starting the fire and cleaning the chalet and toilets, and the mechanics who kept the machines running. Thanks too for the donations and memberships. Remember your membership is good until Oct. 1, 2021, so bike and hike Wolverine Trails this summer and fall. Early bird memberships start Aug. 1.
Volunteers worked on the trail today. They brought in snow to shoveled over the bare spots. The groomers went out and tracked Wolverine and Powderhorn to 3 Sisters. The skiiing should be good tomorrow. We snowshoed the Hospital loop. Snow on the south side is scant but great from the Hospital Trailhead to the Chalet.
An attempt was made to groom the ski trails this morning. Unfortuately we were unable to make any improvements on the tracks due to the 50 degree temperature on Saturday and overnight freezing. Bare spotss were shoveled over but skiers should be on the lookout for these problem areas. At 1:00 today volunteers will be going out to make further improvements on the headwall and Wolverine Trail corridor. If you can join us, bring your old skis and shovel and meet at the chalet at 1:00.
