Wolverine has an extensive mountain bike system which is constructed on land that is privately owned and is available to non-motorized use only.
Wolverine has technical single track (Rock and a Hard Place, Fischer Ridge and Schnake trails) as well as wide grassy ski trails in the summer.There is a section of the ski trail system that is closed from April 1 - Dec. 1 (behind the hospital and west to the chalet) . Please respect the trail closed signs.
FAT TIRE SNOW BIKES
SNOWBIKES are allowed on bike trails only. they are prohibited from using groomed ski trails.
Access SNOWBIKE trails at Snow Summit Rd. Trail Head, off Powderhorn Rd. Powderhorn Pipeline Fat Bike Trails are groomed for winter biking.
The Snowshoe trails may also be used for winter biking, use caution crossing groomed ski trails and encountering those on snowshoes
- Respect hikers, runners or snowshoers using the trails.
- Use caution crossing groomed ski trails
- Always wear a helmet
- Stay on designated trails
- Do not disturb the wildlife
- Minimize your impact and be environmentally aware
- Please do not litter
- Ride with a friend or leave word with someone where you plan to go
Tuesday night Fat Tire Ride:
A group of bikers ride every Tuesday night after the snow melts until it returns. Check out the events page in May.
